Starting your own Business

I remember a couple years ago I would dream about starting my own business. I would think so much about it that I did not take any action. But in my mind I always had the opportunity to start one and I had a lot of excuses as to why I have not started yet or will start later.

Time passed by and I still didnt take action to start something. You can compare it to inertia in physics where an object will keep it’s current state until some force has been applied against that state to alter it. I wasn’t the person who had started a business in the past so I had this resistance against it.

It wasn’t until I started to surround myself by people who already did something in that regard that I started changing. It is not said for nothing that you are the average of the people you spend most time with. I started learning about business and making money. I started picking up habits one by one that made me more valuable for people around me. I registered my first business. That shows how surrounding yourself with successful people makes you more like them.

I started to work a lot and bring value to my clients. Remember you are your own Boss and all the people you do something for are your clients. Because of the provided value I have started making a lot of money even as an employee.

My businesses didn’t take of at that time. As an Entrepreneur your path is scattered with trials and errors. When one thing doenst work you try the next one. But I have noticed how my knowledge, education and work ethic make a difference. I would make significantly more money than my collegues because of it.

You should as an entrepreneur and as an employee stop saying: “I can’t”, “I won’t” or “I don’t have”. Instead you should say: “How can I”, ” I will” and “How can I have”.

You see the difference?! One is a closed up mentality that doesn’t let you see opportunities. The other sets you on a journey to find them.

One last thing before I close this post is to always remember why you are doing this. Set youself the goal to get better or in other words to move further along your way. The goal is not to become rich tommorow its rather to be on your way to become richer and to increase your freedom.
